my day
Today I got up super early as I was looking after my godson for the day, my son was off school so we had a blast together.
Had him with us for a good 7 hours and the time just flew by. It's always nice to have him over, I don't see as much of him as I should do but that's life isn't it, time ticks by days/weeks and your like SHIT I haven't seen this person for almost two months!! Going over to his house tomorrow so I can have a good catch up with his mummy (my best friend).
Tonight my cousin (18) went missing, well... (She has special needs, lots of learning difficulties) she said she was going to the shop but after an hour didn't return home or answer her phone. Her mum called my mum for help but my mum is away at the coast so mum called me and I ran up to help find her. When I got to my aunts house she was sat on the floor rocking, crying. I just had to find her quick, I managed to hack into her iPad that was connected to her iPhone and found messages from a unsaved number arranging a meeting. This scared me and was hard not to let it on as I didn't want to panic the already frantic mum. So I played it cool and I txt the number saying I would be calling it off my own phone and wanted my cousin to answer, thankfully she did. We facetimed quickly so I could see she wasn't hurt, I managed to get her location out of her but When I asked her who she was with and she hung up! My nerves were fucked because the location she was wasn't a place I wanted her to be. (A local known drug spot). So I phoned my other cousin who was on her way over to help and jumped in her car to get there faster. I caught her making a break for it flung the door open and said something like 'in the car princess' and then I got out of the car and had a good look at the boy she was with, he had no clear learning difficulties, was a handsome looking boy. And without meaning to sound rude I don't know why he would have a girlfriend like my cousin.. Jumping to conclusions I think he's taking advantage of her. So I grilled him, what's his game, where he life's, how old he is, 20!, I have his number saved now and have told him if he wishes to see her again after this he needs to meet her parents so they know what's going on. He seemed genuine and was upset he didn't know that she'd not told her mum where she was going. But a girl like that does not belong on that street and thats what I told him. Before we took her home we pulled up and had a talk just explaining that if she had told her mum then she would still be out now relaxing with her boyfriend and everything would have been ok. I said there's a lot of nasty people out there that would harm a girl walking alone and that's what was going through our heads. We all love her dearly and just needed to see that she was ok. Thank goodness she just snuck off to see her boy! We've all done it! But fuck me it scared the life out of me!
On a better note after that I had drinks at home with my OH and a good friend, it was a blast. Few rounds of cards against the humanity and lots of giggles. Now I am completely beat! Feels like I've had a weeks worth of interaction and now I can live in my cave for a while lol after my date with my bff tomorrow ofc! ^_^
