Down with flu (I think)

I've been sneezing, coughing, blowing my nose...yukkkkk, with watery eyes, drinking Lemsip (like the hot drink from Vicks for cold & flu),...... but haven't stopped eating.....he he he. Beside me is a pack of peanut brittle with chocolate from Marbella, Spain. One good thing that came out of this is that I was able to call in sick.....a day off!!!! Actually, I feel a bit better now.

Not to waste my time while sick, I started surfing the net for a resort in Boracay. The place where we previously stayed couldn't accommodate us on January 2 to 6 (4 nights/5 days). After half a day of looking, I finally found one. . .Veli's Inn. The place looks nice and as I told my husband, "we'll just sleep there". Three years ago, we stayed in Boracay Regency and paid £70/room/night x 2 rooms. The exchange rate then was 105 PHP = £1. Really, do you have to pay so much to a place you only sleep in? The following year we downsized and got one for £20/room/night at Villa Paula which is right beside the Regency. I know, no comparison you'd say, but really when you're on holiday, you don't stay in your hotel room except at night when you're dead tired and it doesn't matter where you are. It was recommended to us by another British guy, Austin. It's steps away from Charls Bar where there's live music every night. That's all we need! This time, it's beside "D'Mall".
