There i was, my first footy match in telstra dome. Just outside spencer street station, the crowd has just started to gather and the loyal SAINTS band is already blaring the saint anthem..." oh when the saint, go matching in..." Given that this is my maiden match, i was not prepared for this kind of welcome. David head to the saint's souvenir stand and bought himself a jacket... 100 dollars for a cheap jacket.
I was very lucky because we manage to get a ticket through a friend in the medallion box. Which means... a less rowdy crowd, free dinner in the medallion club. It was just fantastic. Dinner was bake cod with sundried tomato paste served with creamy black fettucine. The fish was a little dry, guess they baked the fish way before anyone ordered for it to ensure speedy service.
The Telstra dome is truly impressive, if only Singapore can do something similar, it holds about 75,000 people and has a top that can open and close so that the weather will not affect the playing condition. The field was vast and the grass was impeccable, 'this will be a great game i thought'. The seats has got Television, like those in business class. WOW.
Frankly, the only reason why i am here is for G-train, will attach picture.
He didnt turn up because of broken thumb. *grumble*
well, he wear the tightest shorts in the AFL. apparently he has got a huge dong too.
Anyway, the saints won by 21 goals, which is 126 points. GO SAINTS!
