Self fullfilling prophecies

i have fallen victim to you.
its been a year or so and i feel like i'm a recovering addict.
Everyday i wake up it seems to be just like the last. wake. eat. school. work. sleep. repeat.
oh corp. america how you have ruined being creative and following your own path. instead we must all conform to the needs of the business. You have also made me hate people, since apparently i am an uneducated individual just because i do not hold a degree as of yet, i must work in a customer service job where everyone else assumes they are just better than you. They look down on you as you make their triple venti, 5 pump vanilla, whole milk, extra hot, upside caramel machiatto, with light caramel drizzle, underneath a light layer of whipped cream. Go to hell. People are so wasteful and honestly what does it matter if your drizzle is on top or underneath the whip cream. you complain if its not hot enough, while children in africa don't even have hot water to bath with. Mean while, you shove that fat induced piece of lemon loaf down your throat exercising no self control as you begin to grow yet another roll of excess skin that rolls over your pants which are a size to small because you think your ass looks sexy in your tight jeans, when its just really disgusting to look at your muffin top as you stand there, ensuring that your drink is made to perfection.

The only happiness that is brought to me is in the form of spiked orange juice on occasion. Seriously i don't think i could live through life sober. when i look back, the best times i've had is out having a drink with some friends. why in this society do we need an outlet for our frustration, is it perhaps due to the fact that everyone has such busy lives they don't even have time to sit down and eat dinner at a table every night.

In the 70's, people took acid to make the world eccentric. Today, people take Prozac to make it normal. Decades have past and yet people keep trying to make their life something it's not
