there's a fire within my soul....
me = giddy.
I had quite possibly the most awesome weekend in a long time. since the weekend my lover was visiting for sure. Seeing all my amigos was fabulous because they are awesome and I miss them while I slowly wither away here.... the bbq was quite the success mucho fun was had. my favourite part (while there were many) was dancing in the street in the rain with my wife for an hour. One of the best hours of my life lots and lots of fun. All the worried concerned comments from the others were quite funny as well... yes we knew the neighbours were watching, yes i was wearing a bra, no my shirt wasn't getting see-through and no we were not drunk. pleasantly tipsy is all. not that being entirely sober would have kept us from the street.
today was also loads of more fun happenings. starting with watching 'the zeppo' from buffy because quite simply i adore xander and you can never go wrong with a xander-centric episode. then lunch with the boys was the funniest lunches i have had in a long time. them peterborough boys know how to have a good time (if not how to throw a slice of bread) then we rushed to the movies and despite the show being sold out it all turned out great. we went to a later show and got some shopping in =) i finally got some small hoop earrings i have been looking for plus some sweet new angel wing ones.
we saw mamma mia (my second time) and as before it was absolutely incredibly awesome in every way! amanda seyfried is gorgeous and has a beautiful voice and the whole cast was awesome and is there something wrong with me for loving the older guys in spandex? hahah such an awesome time i adore the movie and can't wait for it to come on dvd so i can have it and watch it and repeat certain scenes (lay all your love on me) over and over and over....
good drive back, nothing exciting but that's ok. i get back and after a weekend away there are several updated fics in all my lovely fandoms that lead to super reads. plus i am beyond thrilled that there are new torrard fics being posted again.
so all this adds up to a very satisfied and giddy ms fernando torres to be (hehe) so much love to everyone who made my weekend a blast.
