Still alive
Wow it's been over a month since I have posted here...
Well it has been a crazy month. My parents have been at my cottage on and off most of the summer as we are building a new one that will be year round. It is heavenly when they are gone, stressful when they are here. My sister bought a house. We had been looking at places with a basement to apartment that I could then rent from her. We found one and did the whole offer and inspection and we take possession on the 5th of October. So there has been lots of excitement around that. We have been getting stuff we need mostly when the parental are gone because they have unwanted (negative) comments on everything. My dad told my sister he slept on a sleeping bag his first year moved out as if that means she shouldn't spend money on things she wants.
Things have been unsettled and problematic at work. One of the assistant manager has been seriously power tripping since the manager left and he has no idea what is going on so it is causing problems. He is also highly inappropriate and has a grudge against one of my coworkers because she wouldn't go out for drinks with him. He's approaching 40 and she's 22.
Then there's the excitement of my trip which I leave for in 19 days. I am so excited, scared, happy.
Add to that we almost maxed out our Internet and couldn't do anything extensive on it well no wonder I haven't been on much.
But in that time I have made a sling bag that is reversible, made two spice racks of sorts for all my nail polish and cleaned and rearranged my room. I also saw the Djokovic semifinals match of the Rogers Cup, started planning a trip to Hawaii with a girl from work for May and nearly passed out at work one morning.
So it has been hectic, it has been crazy. How have you all been?
