I was watching the December 20th Liverpool match against Newcastle and am so glad that Stevie is back and scoring. We've missed his presence on the pitch.
Another thing I noticed watching the match bothers me... Yohan Cabaye from Newcsatle's should have been foul on Spearing. I know that a ref can't do anything if he didn't see it but it is despicable to see a player taking advantage of a ref's turned back to attack a player. Watching the replays it is no accident and it is unsettling to see Cabaye get away with that while a player like Luis Suarez gets an 8 match ban over an incident steeped in uncertainty. I am not in anyway suggesting that racism is ok I simply believe Suarez when he says he said it once only. When Evra can't tell the same story from the first mention to the end I think his credibility should be called into question but apparently not. Instead a decent player (and decent man) is suffering a lack of games and this slander against his character.
It's a messed up world we live in.
on a lighter note my frog Diablo is going insane in his tank rushing to the surface and back to the bottom. It is quite amusing. Angel as per usual is hiding in the corner playing dead.
