Confederation Cup time! woohoo
HALF TIME REPORT:
- Fernando Torres is absolutely amazing. Hatrick in under 17 minutes. Need I say more?
- Great dedication and persistence from la seleccion =)
- Great goal by Cesc and I love the look of happiness on his beautiful face afterwards
- I am mad sort of that it took 43 minutes to show Iker. I am glad that he didn't have a lot of work to do but they still could have showed him. He's San Iker after all and we all need to have a bit of religion.
- GO SPAIN
I had an absolutely wonderful past few days. Wednesday I went to Waterloo in the late morning and had a great time. Went out for lunch with the family and had a delicious frozen margarita. After lunch I killed time writing in the ML caf before meeting my wifey after her class. We walked back to her place, which is lovely. Nice and cozy, a great place for the next two years. The wonderful Andrea was there and we all hung out and went to Kelsey's for dinner. The food was good and we had a good time. I threw a slight fit (fake) over not knowing what to order which was fun... (ended up getting fish and chips and beer) Later that evening me and Lil went to Erika's and chilled for a bit. Great day over all despite the blisters from my new flats.
Thursday was my convocation. So I got up and showered and got ready and all that, left late to meet my friend since Lil and I got talking.... walked to campus and met up with Alanna who was also graduating. She looked beautiful. WE got our huideous gowns and all that and after lots of waiting around and rain it was itme for the ceremony to start. Convocaion itself was pretty boring.... but at least it wasn't too long and I didn't trip so that's a plus. I officially have a BA in Spanish now! woohoo! Now I just need to get that other degree and I am set to enter the real world.... haha After convoc I went grocery shopping with Erika and picked up some stuff for dinner with the wife. Long walk but good times. The wife and I watched Alex & Emma whle eating pizza, chips and drinking mojitos. Lots of fun. Talked to muy late, even after saying like 8 times we were going to go to bed now. hahah Oh how I've missed you love.
Friday I went to the mall with Lil. She needed thins for her her dance recital and well I didn't need anythingbut bought some flip flops. It was 3 for $10 and my feet hurt fom my flats so it was worth it. Ooh I had matcha green tea yogen fruz with lychee.... it was so yummy. Later in the afternoon Erika and I went to Alanna's for a BBQ. It was pretty tame but a good time. Got a bit tipsy but that was all.... they had the Stanley Cup final on which was boring but oh well... I find hockey very boring (yes I really am Canadian) Alanna drove us back to Erika's place after and I crashed there. Went home the next morning and worked that night.
