a night to remember
so today was cold and crappy and in general lots of craziness going on. the highlight of my night was going to be going to the movies with my friend... who knew such excitement could happen......
my friend comes over and i get all my shit together to go to the movies... i make sure i have the movie pass and my wallet and i leave beign sure to flick the lock on my door. we are in the hallway talking and i pull my door shut. the second, SECOND i hear it click shut i realize fuck! i've left my keys in the room. I just locked myself out of my room!!! i have to go or we'll miss the bus and by extension the movie so i ask my dear roommate and love of my life to call our landlord for me and see if she can come unlock since she had said she had a spare.
I go see My Best Friend's Girl which was freaking awesome and hillarious!!! I love Kate Hudson and I love DaneCook!!!! Such a great movie with so many awesome lines in it. My favourite scene is at the wedding when he realizes what he needs to do and the whole him walking out and that whole bit! AWESOME!!! HOT!!! FABULOUS!!!! I get a text during the movie and I check it afterwars.... apparently my landlady doesn't actually have a spare key... I'm going to have to call the locksmith! Then to top it off I only got scheduled for one 4 and a half hour shift this week! wtf?
I get hyper over the impending craziness and i am laughing lots and desiring cigarettes and something to drink. Me and my friend come up with a plan. We try the window.... then we see if it can be easily picked or the lock actually unscrewed and removed... if that doesn't work maybe the hinges are on the outside and we can remove thwe door and then last step before locksmithis prying off the handle....
I get the window open and the screen and glass removed.... it is a tiny basement window and of course only one side actually opens.... none of us think I'll be able to fit through but i try anyhow. i start going in head first (stupid i know) i fit my shoulders through and am half in dangling head first into my room when i realize the stupidity of it... i am going to fall in and like break my neck. A couple different ways later I realize feet fitrst but on my stomach is the best idea (duh!) and I get in!!! HOORAH!!! I did manage to knock the flower pot on my sill off breaking the container it sat in and spilling some dirt but thankfully not alot.... I also scraped my stomach up some and it stings. but i got in so hoorah! then i couldn't get the window back in place and it took me forever and i did finally figure it out... i was being stupid and not pressing it up hard enough so that it would be able to slip back into place.
However I am now back in my room with my door unlocked and my window firmly in place. Other than a broken pot and a scratched stomach you'd never know....
Quite the night.
oh and liverpool one and robbie keane finally got his first goal (yay!) and stevie got his 100th goal for lfc!!!!! =D
