i realize i rarely, if ever, post any longer. what do i have to say that isn't the same old? perhaps i should do it more often, just so i write something that doesn't include fabric content, washing instructions, and the phrase "domestic and/or imported." oh, em. :(

you sound just ... so unhappy. i really wish i could help make things better for you. if you can, try to do some hand exercises ... stretching out your fingers for a few minutes - maybe give yourself some hand massages, or have spencer give you one at night.

to be honest, i've started going to a gym and i've actually found it helps you kind of zone out, and not necessarily think about what's been going on that day. you're focusing so much on achieving your immediate goals that you don't really have the mental energy to think about much else. if you don't want to put the money towards joining a gym, you could maybe take walks? see if spencer will go with you. i don't know much about the layout of LA, but maybe you could drive yourself to the beach and just give yourself some nice, relaxing walk-in-the-sand-by-the-water-and-make-a-wet-sand-castle time. i mean, it's freaking 60 degrees out! there's no excuse! (in fact, you are making me rather jealous ... i'm in new hampshire right now, and we're pushing 2.5 feet of snow on the ground. gadzooks.)

also, please remember that you are an incredibly intelligent, graceful, fashionable and literate woman. just because you are not in your ideal work environment does NOT mean you are illiterate and / or less qualified to perform whatever job you desire. even the best copywriter, it sounds, would go absolutely bonkers in your position. bad jobs come and go. do yourself a favour and just look around ... you never know what will pop up. if something looks interesting, send out a resumé. maybe you'll find a significantly better deal.

and, if you can, come back to connecticut soon. i was in danbury recently and thought of you.
