[Robin has already been here long enough to know what's going on as far as the village mythos is concerned. There'd been alleged kidnappings from multiple dimensions, and all sorts of superpowered types are supposedly stuck here to act as an army for some omnipresent Big Brother figure. It would have been a transparent enough illusion if not for the extensive network of journals. A few days spent reading the text entries and listening to old recorded vocals was tedious but terribly informative. The problem raised is in the holes. The little snippets of familiar voices that lead to empty journal spaces. It's become a big enough issue that Robin addresses the journals at large. even if it is a trap, it can't hurt to make it look like he's playing along.]

I'm curious, though. If the general understanding of those who leave is that they're sent home and leave no trace that they've ever been here, why do they still exist on the older entries of people still here? If the Malnosso can erase a person's identity from the village, why not backtrack and get rid of the departed people's presence on others' pages as well? It seems incomplete of them.
