Long Time No See...
Well, so I haven't updated because I'm a lazy b****. I know i am. I freely admit it.
So the week dragged by because I was waiting for ICON. Watched Death Note, still have some left. So finally the time came:
ICON 2007!!!!!
Friday:
Josh picked me up. since we were about 3.5 hours early, we played cards in Jen's dorm...Jen's brother joined us and we played gin rummy. we played with my yyh deck so we renamed all the characters:
yuusuke- greaser
kuwabara- loser
kurama- pretty boy (he is bishie too)
hiei- emo-kid
Saw my A14 friends. It was great to see everyone again, and some new people too!
So some of us had to stand in line and get tickets. A frantic fast run in the dealers room, but it was all fun. Dinner at Applebys spent talking to Josh Jen Chris Kit and Dan. Josh had to leave, Chris drove Jen and me to pick up a cake for a suprsie party for Denise. I put the letters on. We were there til 4ish.
Saturday:
Slept 5-12. Put on my costume, but ditched the wig and face white stuff- GROSSEST STUFF EVER. It was all greasy and disgusting. I'm suprised I didn't get acne from, the 5 minutes it was on. Went to the dealers room wiht Josh. Saw like everyone I know. I MET JAMIE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN PERSON! Like I knew her form the lj, and it was awesome to see her in real life, and we were able to talk so easily. It was also cool to see Enrique again! They had to leave fast tho. T_T
Hung out some more. Dinner, Joshhad to leave early. The rest of us went to the rec room and played Nintendo Wii (I never played it before!) and played a rayman game with all minigames. Fun stuff Back at the dorm Kit (who was staying in there with us) was talking about sontaneous discombobulation, which is sometime in the middle of the morning when things that would normally not be funny become hilarious. At around 3, we were discussing fat babies, and we must have hit it then b/c we both could not stop laughing. fat babies. Jen wondered what was wrong with us, Kit was choking and coughing, I was trying to breathe. It was too funny.
Sunday:
Pretty uneventful. Hung out in dealers room first with Josh Diane Chris Kit and Dan, then with Jen (they left) and we went on a pocky run. yum, pocky....
we decided to get crap because we wanted it, so we went to burger king. it was around 5, so we ate, and then card playing ensues (I read my new Lenore comic collection 9-12) and packed my new plushies of Ed Al (FMA) and Ichigo (Bleach) to go back to school. Josh drove me home, and my mom drove me back. I did my homework at like 9, read Lenore til 10, then got online and realized I was exhaushted. Josh called, and he was tired too. We both decided to go to sleep. I did, after listening to an emo song (which happens to be stuck in my head)
So that was my weekened. I really needed that. Kit, who i hadn't met before, was really cool. I was overjoyed to see Jen again, and stay at stonybrook. I really don't get to see her too much. I'm also gald there was no drama this year, and that Josh had a good time too. I missed A14. They're a good group, I'm glad I'm a part of it. And i gotta close up, since the office is closing soon. Now I get to wait for next week-spring break!!!
