I did amazing and was very consistent today (by my standards). I finally figured out how to achieve some level of consistency towards the end of my previous session (over a month ago), and I carried that momentum over to today. I know I'm having a good day when 109 is my worst score.
153 - 165 - 142 - 109 - 155 - 130 - 126 - 120 - 148 - 112 - 144
new high game: 165
new high series: I'm only going to count consecutive games within one day, so my best series is 460 (first three games of today).
My best total for three consecutive games over multiple sessions is 477 (159 from the last game of my last session and 153 - 165 to start today).
average: 1504 / 11 games = 136.7, which I'm thrilled about considering I've been averaging around 110 for the past few years. The best part is that I maintained that average over 11 games, so it wasn't me fluking a couple of games when I was hot.
I zero games below 100, and only two games below 120. I'm now up to 15 straight games with at least 100. Before that streak I don't think I had ever gotten more than five straight games of 100+, and I hit 100+ only around 70% of the time. Six games over 140 (out of 11) is a good sign too, considering I normally don't get more than two in a full session.
My 165 game went like this:
X8/1/X709/XX719/7203151687595122140148165
I got crazy excited when my average was over 150 for the first three games, but I was put in my place in my fourth game. Even though I knew it was unrealistic to maintain an average close to 150, I still averaged above 140 after the first seven games, and 130.5 in the eight games after my first three games.
All in all, it was a big step forward. I'll see next time if it is premature to expect an average in the mid-130's, but I should at least raise expectations to the 125-130 range.
