Weekend Over Already?????
Where did the time go? So much I wanted to get done this weekend. Things I wanted to 'fix' - I have this pile of samples from work that have small holes (hence the mutilated sample tag) that need to be darned/sealed before they can be tossed into the wash. The pile is still there. I've got these large pieces of plaid fleece that I want to finish off with a nice blanket stitch and use as throws for the sofa, not done. Well that'll be something I'll hopefully get to next weekend. I was able to go through all the piles of correspondence overflowing on my desk and get rid of the things I've been holding onto since mid 2007 (wtf??). Stacy went through her pile of toys in the living room and we now have a mid sized bag of toys to give away/send to the Philippines. The girls' room still looks like a tornado hit it, in fact my room still looks like a tornado hit it. ;P
I need to clean a bit before Thanksgiving, which is this Thursday. Angelica's friends were talking about the food etc for this holiday and who makes what at their house. Angelica basically said "My grandmother and uncle makethe Filipino dishes and my mom orders the turkey/etc from Boston Market." Ummm this is true. I order my turkey/stuffing/mashed potatoes(they have GOOD mashed potatoes) and sweet potato casserole from Boston Market. I pick it up on Wed. afternoon and heat everything up the next day. So sue me. lol We do make cookies and brownies though. Someone else comes with the pies.
