Met Gala 2015

So this is about a week late, last 5/4/2015 was the annual Met Gala, this year's theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” in honor of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition of the same name. Onward then.

It's not really my job, someone else does trend/concept boards but making posts here for the fall/spring shows makes me actually look thru the runway shows to get some idea of the season and the Met gala is just fun.

As for the remembering, that Beyonce dress was something and they are similar enough that you kind of side eye. I didn't remember the year, but I was not the only one who saw the similarities and a lot of websites had them side by side, like so:

Ah, so what is it you do, exactly? I know literally zip about the fashion business. How did you get into it?

The dresses are both really pretty, but I can def see the side eye.
