what if seeing the truth took but a single revelation?
what if it told you, everything was nothing anyways.
would you still want to know?
would you still listen to the pounding voices?
a thousand discordant symphonies that whisper of truth.
a forest of swaying boughs that speak of lies.
truth, upon revelation, now visible underlying self-concocted propaganda.
inexcusable, unjustifiable, impossible.
needing not a reason, not a cause, not a proof,
nor that which is labeled involuntary,
merely seemingly a choice so obvious, decision not required.
lies, coming with embedded override codes,
nothing more than another possibility, taken as law.
allowed to govern all,
allowed to preach of otherworldly explanation to paradox,
while illusions offer meals with swords shaped as forks.
while illusions are king.
one of these days, truth will scale the walls,
the unstoppable force, the inevitable will come.
chaos will reign with a throttling hand,
with breathtaking beauty that is the intermittent melody,
fear will dissipate, peace finally realized somewhere in the storm.
but you cannot reach for freedom.
you have to abandon control.
surrender your grasp,
to smash at rock bottom.
there will you shed your vessel,
all the emotion and that which obeys gravity.
there will you find your wings.
there will you fly.
but you had to lose yourself,
to find that ultimate truth.
but you had to fall,
to find that ultimate truth.
to be willing to acknowledge all that you are.
to be willing to be nothing.
what if seeing the truth, meant you had to let go?
Release, Redemption, and Restitution.
would you Regret it?
