November officially kicks off the holiday season, and the time of year that is craziest due to personal life stuff. August/September is craziest at work, but November/December wins the Crazy Crown for the rest of the year.
In chronological order, we have:
11/22 - Tim's and my anniversary
late November - Turkey Day (sometimes, like this year, these are actually on the same day)
12/14 - Lucy's B-day (co-worker, must buy gift)
12/16 - Jason's B-day (BIL, sometimes buy gift)
12/18 - Mandy's B-day (buy gifts, plan party)
12/20 - Tim's B-Day (buy gifts, sometimes plan party)
12/25 - Christmas (not just gift buying but also the various parties and family functions)
Oddly, listing everything out has made me feel better...it's trying to keep everything in my head that stresses me out so much, I think. So I've started a spreadsheet for Christmas gift ideas, so I can just add things whenever inspiration strikes. Turkey Day this year is at my aunt's house in Houston, so there's really nothing I need to do or plan. Mandy's birthday party is the next big thing to tackle, and we should be reserving the party place tomorrow. That means invitations will go out, and that pretty much just leaves the cake and buying birthday gifts/party supplies. Lucy's and Jason's birthdays are just a matter of thinking of what to get them. Ditto that for Tim, really, there's just a bit more pressure with that one ;)
I can get through the next 6 weeks...I can get through the next 6 weeks...I can get through the next 6 weeks!
