Joe created a World of Warcraft (WOW) trial account under my name without my knowledge (maybe he did tell me & it went over my head) until a few days after he activated it. Since I finished the Twilight series in under 2 weeks and am still jobless, it was inevitable that I would start playing WOW to pass the long long days. I admit... it was an easy transition since - time to come out of the geek closet - I've been playing Warhammer Online since Joe bought it 2-3 months ago.
In WAR, I have a level 22 (out of 40) Witch Elf, which I initially liked until Joe told me about that STUPID exclusive face stamp that I can't remove. She's similar to a Rogue in WOW, except she uses blood lust instead of combo points. In WOW, I made a few temp characters to test out all the different race and classes (Undead Warlock - lvl 9, Human Mage - 4, Gnome Rogue - 7, Night Elf Hunter - 6, Night Elf Druid - 13, Tauren Shaman - 3). Since it's only a trial, I wasn't able to test out the Blood Elf or Draenei, but so far I like Night Elf Druid or Warlock.
They both have their pros and cons, but I personally enjoy WAR more simply because it directs me to the locations of my quests AND... everything is MUCH prettier! I was going to make a comparative list between these two MMORPGs, but not only will that take too much time....... it would be exaggerating my geekiness.
So....don't get used to this...
