Went to Carmel to celebrate my uncle's 60th birthday and had fun with my family. The weather today was beautiful which is nice since it's been raining so much lately. So I put up an event on Facebook for the walk I'm doing in May and so far, one maybe and seven declines. What a total bummer. I was hoping to form a group of people. And if no one wants to do that one no one will want to do the walk in San Francisco with me at the end of May. I'm so bummed about it because I thought it'd be fun to hang with friends and enjoy the beautiful outdoors and bring awareness for a good cause.
My friend Vanessa from church sent me a text asking if I wanted to go do kareoke (sp?) tonight. I totally would (and I've never done it unless you count doing it with a game at a St. Patty's party at a friends house) and I think it would be fun. But, being I have literally no cash and I need to save the little I have for gas, I told her no. Because I know for something like that I'll want a drink or something. I have all these choices for books to read and I'm not sure which one I want to read. I had to return the New Moon book I bought to cover my butt until next week. I tried reading one of my books on the way home from Carmel and I already don't like it.
This week will be a good way for me to get cracking on eating better. I'm going to ask my mom to get some salad stuff at the store this weekend. I'm thinking each day have a salad with a hard boiled egg, some bacon bits and some dressing. Then a piece of whole weat toast and maybe some yogurt or something like that. And have oatmeal for breakfast. My mom makes healthy stuff when she cooks dinner and she does most of the cooking. I'm going to make myself go to the gym more during the week. I want to take the yoga class on Tuesday. I'm sorta blah right now. Physically feeling ugly and emotionally blah because I'm single and well, can't afford to do anything with friends.
Ok I'm going to figure out what book I want to read and make some pasta for dinner. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
