My little car
I'm thinking I'm going to take my car in for an oil change early in the morning. The place I go to opens at 7 so I think I'll get up, get ready and be there when they open. This week in the morning, there have been a few days where when I'm backing out of my spot and my car makes a little noise. Like a rattling sort of noise. I'm paranoid ever since a few months ago I got work done on my car and so I freak out that something's wrong with it and that it's going to cost me an arm and a leg.
I'm thinking it's because it usually sits in the parking lot from the time I get home between 6 and 6:30 until the following morning when I leave for work close to 8:30 in the morning. It cools down enough in the evening that it's a big difference from sitting out in the hot 90 plus hot sun during the day. That's quite a few hours that it sits out there in the evening in the cool air. So I'm thinking the noise is a warm up noise because it doesn't last long. It is an 11 year old car so I'm sure noises come with owning a car that old. And like I said, I think I'm just paranoid about it and worried that it's some major work. I have about $500 left from my final paycheck at my last job. So if it's something cheap I can cover it. And I'm babysitting right now and I'll have a tiny bit of money to help me out. I'm also babysitting on Monday night. My neighbor, Janice, has three girls (11 and younger) staying at her house for a little. She needs someone to watch them for her on Monday nights for a while when she goes to class. I have to find out the details over the weekend. I'm charging $15/hour for that which is more than what I charge for my current clients.
