Making curriculums are hard

Jul 20, 2008 22:16

So I started typing up a curriculum for starting with next week. The theme the last week of this month is Community Helpers. I have a cute poem about five friendly firefighters. I made a grid that shows physical development, sensorial, math (cognitive development), language, creative arts, and the poem. I'm thinking of changing the physical development into something else. I'm not sure what yet. I'm thinking practical life which teaches the children to take care of themselves. Any suggestions from any of you that have kids or have done anything involving kids? I've gotten most of it done. I just wanted something to take to my mini staff meeting tomorrow night as an idea of what to do.

It's getting late and I have to get up early. I have to stop at my new job in the morning for Danna (my boss) to make a copy of my license. Then I have to get my health screening from my doctors office. After that I may go to this store I like and buy a new outfit. We'll see what mood I'm in. I really wanted to stay home and be lazy. lol I've had somewhat of a busy weekend. I spent the day in Carmel yesterday and today I was getting some stuff ready for my new job. I got the nice calender I bought for the class laminated and got some stuff at Michaels. It's time to call it a night though. I'm so tired. I hope you're all doing well.
