Father's Day & Stimulus Check
Today my family went to Carmel to celebrate Father's Day. It was nice. We went to a restaurant called Fandango and it was really nice. My grandfather really liked it which is good. It was so nice. The weather down there was perfect. My mom and I had thought of going to the movies tonight but we decided not to after we got home. I looked up the times and the ones we'd be able to make are around 7:40 tonight and that's later than we'd want. So we'll hang around here.
I'm confused about something with the stimulus check. So, back when they started talking about it, the payroll dept. at my job and the IRS sent me a letter saying I qualify for the $600 based on my income. That's all fine and well and I understand that. What I'm confused about is that either earlier this past week or the end of the previous week, my mom got a letter from the IRS saying she was going to be getting a certain amount for the stimulus check. The reason this confuses me is because I didn't recieve a letter like that. Has anyone gotten a letter from the IRS saying the exact amount they will get for stimulus check? I know it's not related to taxes, so even though I owed the federal government money for taxes, I can still get the $600 for the stimulus money. I should have it by June 20th (so this coming up Friday) based on the last two numbers of my social security number. I checked the IRS website and it said something about getting a letter saying what you will recieve. I got the payment notice a while ago when this started saying that I qualify for up to $600. *shrugs* Let's just hope I still get my money by Friday. I'm counting on that $600 to pay off my debt. Keep your fingers crossed.
I can not believe that the weekend is over. What a bummer. I'm so not ready to go back to work tomorrow. Speaking of work, I'm hoping I have a better week. I still haven't heard anything about when the lady came to "investigate" about the complaint about me. I try to tell myself not to flip out and not to worry. I mean, if I was going to get laid off, I think it would've happened already. Two other teachers were questioned by licensing regarding something completely different. They had some complaint against them for different situations. Ok time to take a shower and paint my nails pink so they look nice. I hope you're doing well.
