Be yourself - who else is better qualified?
Holy crap where did the weekend go?!?! I can't believe that it's Sunday night after 6pm. I don't like Sunday afternoon's/evenings because I dread going back to work the next day. Weekends really are not long enough. My job does not close in observance of the holiday which is weird because most pre-school's close. I'd love a three day weekend right about now. Yesterday (Saturday) I was going to go with my mom to Carmel. I got showered, dressed and we went to the door ready to go. I had been going to the bathroom a lot before that. I told my mom maybe it would be best if I just stayed home. She left right before 10am go to to my grandparents & I crawled into the comfort of my bed in my pj's with my cat. Between 10 and 10:30 I quickly sat up in my bed because I felt awful, drank some water and ran to the bathroom. I leaned oer the toilet and threw up for about ten minutes. All I wanted was my mom at that point. I started crying and wishing it was over. I could tell my cat (Callie) was at the bathroom door staring at me to make sure I was ok. Finally that ended, I got some mouth wash from my mom's bathroom and rinsed out my mouth. Back to bed I went.
I only went out at 2pm to go get my mom's pants at the dry cleaners, and I took the risk of buying a burrito at Baja Fresh which I managed to keep down. I stopped at the managment office to get our gift certificate for renewing our lease then back home. I was fine for the rest of the day which is good. I'm thinking that my enbrel injection caused my vommitting. It is a possible side effect of the medication and since I haven't taken it in a few months and it's the higher dosage than I use to take I think it messed up my system.
This morning I slept in which was nice. I got up around 9 and watched some tv then I took a shower and got ready to go to Sandra's house. She and I made plans the other day to go out to lunch today. I met her beautiful baby girl Akayla May and we went to this restaurant near her at the Westgate mall. We both got a salad with a baguette then we had chocolate chip cookies. Her baby is beautiful and has a cute personality. I left her house at about 1:30 because they had to be at her husband's grandmother's birthday party at 2pm. I then went to get a pedicure and get my eyebrows waxed. Both of which I needed. I was considering waiting to get a pedicure (due to $$) but I figured since I have my meds which are helping with the pain and I can walk a lot better already, I should have pretty toes. And well the eyebrows I can't do on my own and really needed to get cleaned up. haha
I put gas in my car, filled the tires a little with air and I tried using the car wash at the gas station. My car hasn't gotten washed since end of November or beginning of December so it needed it. I haven't done the car wash there before so I didn't know how it worked. I screwed up and didn't wait long enough for it to finish cleaning the car. The guy working there was rude to me and yelling at me saying, "What do you think you're doing?" So there went $9.00 down the drain. Then I went to the car wash I normally go to and splurged the $17.99 to get it washed, tire cleaning, vacuumed inside and wiped down nicely. And I got an air freshner smelling like lemon. Of course now it's supposed to rain the beginning half of this week but my car feels better and really needed to get cleaned. I stopped at the drugstore and got stuff I needed. I got some toothpaste for sensitivity, new toothbrush, cotton swabs to use my toner for cleaning my face, girly stuff I need to take care of cramps, and tylenol pm for the times I don't sleep well. It's amazing all that added up to $30 some dollars. I'm gonna be broke before I know it.
I should go give my cat her wet food for her dinner. I'm thinking of taking a bubble bath before Dateline starts at 7. I haven't taken a bubble bath in a while and it just sounds relaxing. Back to work tomorrow - it'll be busy with doing art work with the kids all day.
