I hate being sick
I'm home sick, it's raining outside and I feel crappy. I started feeling sick on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I wanted to call in sick yesterday but I knew that at least three teachers in my part of the school were on vacation. So I felt bad and thought I should go in. Then I talked to Amiee and asked her if there's any way I could leave early. We figured out that Linda (a teacher next to my room) could bring two of her kids over and be in my room with Ora. I warned the two of them (Linda & Ora) that I may not be in today. I left a note on Mandy's computer saying that I'd call her either last night or this morning to let her know if I thought I'd be good enough to return. So I called her at about 6 last night and told her I was not feeling any better so I thought I better stay home. She said ok and to rest up.
Last night I crawled into bed between 9 and 9:30. I couldn't fall asleep until about 10:30 then I woke up once during the night to go to the bathroom. Then it took me a while to fall back asleep. I know I got a lot of sleep last night though including the nap I took when I got home (btw I left work at 3pm for those wondering). So today I'm going to rest up and try to get some more sleep. Right now I'm making myself stay awake a little so I don't get a sleepign headache. I hate being sick - I wish parents wouldn't bring their kids when they are so sick. Some nasty bug is going around at my job. Ok time to go crawl up on the sofa, watch tv and nap. Hope everyone is well.
