HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

Just a little short and sweet post. Yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to come home at 12:45 and then I had today off. Yay! It's going to be tough returning to work in the morning though! It was weird yesterday because it felt like Tuesday until I got home, then it felt like it was Saturday. Today feels more like Saturday though - it's quite strange. haha It's going to be strange returning to work tomorrow.

I still like my job. There are days where it gets a little frustrating. Mostly because we have these two Indian kids in our class that are really difficult. Both whiney kids and will whine if you don't hold them and cuddle them. I'm not going to hold them all freakin' day - that's just pushign it. My co-teacher, Lizzy, is on vacation this week. So it's been an interesting week to say the least. On Monday & Tuesday we had four kids then tomorrow and Friday we're going to have seven. I kind of wish it was the other way around so that I could end the week quietly. haha I did manage to get the kids to do a project on Monday & Tuesday. I changed the background and border on one bulletin board and I made the July newsletter for the families. I bought some cute paper and made a nice newsletter for them.

Today I spent some time at the pool and it was nice. I got a little pink but knowing me, it'll turn brown and I won't peel. Yay. I won't be so white for a while. Life has been pretty mellow - I've just been spending time relaxing at home after work and going to the pool for a little in the evenings. I still talk to Chris (the Air Force hottie) and I really like him. His birthday is coming up on the 9th, he's turning 28 and I have no idea what to get him.

Well for now that's it. My neighbor said she wants to go to the pool for a bit. Then time for dinner. So I better get going. I miss reading what people are up to. No one is on messenger or AIM anymore and no one updates. :-( Bummer. I hope everyone is good!
