The Journey!!!
This has to be short and sweet because I have to finish getting ready for work. I've been meaning to update and I apologize if you've been waiting for an update from me.
So I began attending a church near my house about two weeks ago. It's called the Journey and I really like it. I felt welcome from the first time I went, I started going to this 20-something group on Thursday nights and I want to be a youth group leader for the high school group and so far they meet on Monday nights. One of the kids at the preschool I work at goes to the same church and she's one of my little shadows at work. I've been really tired this week. Blah. I had a babysitting job last Friday and watched William and his sister Simone in their house up in the mountains - they have an amazing view of the Bay Area. This weekend is going to be crazy again. One of the high school kids I met at the church, Ross, his dad and stepmom are going out of town this weekend and since we live so close to one another, I'm going to keep him company. Not really babysit but just hang out with him while they are gone. Go see a movie, go to church Sunday, stuff like that. I'll sleep at my own house at night. His dad said he'll pay me $100 for the weekend. It may be a little less though because I did something dumb already. I accepted a babysitting job for Saturday night. One of the boys at my job, Ricky, his dad wants to take his wife out for her birthday as a surprise. Heather (Ricky's mom) only trusts me so far and likes me. They've had a hard time finding someone that they like and trust. He said to be at his house around 6:15 and I'm hoping they won't be out late. So I don't know if because of that, if Ross's dad will pay me less for the weekend. I have to call him tonight on the way to my group thing to touch base.
Other than that, I've been working too much and not getting enough sleep so I wake up exhausted. Ok time to go finish getting ready for work. I hope everyone is doing well.
