Sick Day #1 of the school year
I'm staying home today. I just called Peggy a few minutes ago and told her. There's something going around at work, and one kid went home sick yesterday morning before class even started with a fever and Peggy was out sick two days last week. My mom was even sick last week for two days, and she never gets sick. So I'm not totally surprised. Last year, when Peggy got sick, I ended up getting it right after her and had to stay home. It looks like rain outside - dark gloomy clouds. The news says there's a chance of rain - so far only in the cities in the upper of the Bay Area. Did that make any sense? Anyway so I've felt nausious the last few days like I'm going to throw up - just had that feeling again. So I get to rest up in the comfort of my bed and watch daytime tv. Maybe even watch one of the new dvd's I bought at Tower Records over the weekend. Either way, the idea of being curled up in bed sounds so good and I'm glad I'll get a chance to do that.
