Adventures at the Dock
So today is my first day off at camp and let me tell you it is a beautiful thing, especially because its 103 and I'm not leaving the air conditioning cocoon that is the rec tent and I'm excited because I'm actually bored right now, that never happens to me it is summer indeed. Last night was really fun because it was my night off I decided to go up to the turtle and drink with some of the "cool" people here at camp. Seriously I don't know how they do it, drinking practically every night till all hours and then getting up the next day at 7:30am to play with kids all day in the heat. But last night was very fun I got caught up in a lot of inside jokes and got to bitch about the kids with everyone ( even though I really do like mine this year). While we were up there I talked with this new kid, Sam for awhile and decided he is pretty nice and stuff. Then I really had to pee but I'm way not talented enough to pop a squat as they saw, so Sam was like my big strong man and walked me down to the bathroom. Then we decided to get some food and let me tell you pineapple is yummy after a few beers. Then we got the bright idea to go lay out on the dock and watch the stars, awwwwwww so nice. So we hung out on the dock for like two hours and talked and laughed and laughed and laughed and watched for shooting stars. And now everyone thinks we are a couple and hooked up, apparently our unit name is Saticia. Gosh, can't two people disappear for a few hours alone together without it spreading through camp that they are boning. I don't know why everyone know thinks I'm guilty of something. It was particularly exciting when city girl and some of the other girl counselors ran up to me this morning as soon as I woke up and came out of the rec tent from sleeping, too bad I had no fun stories for them. Anyways beach boy concert with the locals tonight awwwooooo, hopefully me and Sam will go together and then who knows maybe I will have a good camp story. (Wink Wink)
