So Long Ago

Now seems as good a time as any to post a new poem lol. I don't like this one... like, at all. Haha. But I dunno, I'll post it anyway just cause I obviously felt the need to write it last month so I might as well share, right? Haha. Enjoy...

And even though I want to cry
The tears have all run dry
Because my heart was broken
A long, long time ago.
I’m past the point of obsession
And I have to make a confession.
You caused my heart to be broken
And I don’t think you even know.
Even when you tell me that you love me,
It’s not the way it should be
Because my heart remains broken
Like it was so long ago.
