Now I Question Why
So some of this poem might be made up... lol. But that's okay. I like it, I guess. It repeats, like, 5 lines a couple times. I went through a phase where I'd write a stanza and repeat it lol. Anyway... Enjoy.
Now the world seems so much colder.
My life is falling apart.
I never thought I’d be that girl.
The one to shed so many tears
And not pick up my broken heart.
I didn’t wanna care this much.
I didn’t wanna love you.
I never understood those songs.
The ones meant to make you cry.
But I loved you and you left me alone
And now I question why.
I’m lying in this darkness
While the world moves on.
But I can’t just get over you.
You’re all I’ve ever wanted
And I don’t know why you’re gone.
I didn’t wanna care this much.
I didn’t wanna love you.
