Prologue

         The winds blew far more strongly than they ever had before.  K’LnithNor stared out the window, amber eyes darkened with worry and fright.  He knew what these winds meant, but no one believed him and thus they forced his hand.  The blood of the innocent were on his hands, but then, so were they on the hands of the thing that lay in wait.

He sighed in frustration.  The body he resided in had no fighting training whatsoever, and though he could feel the potential for it he could also feel the resistance.

The boy was going to be problem.

The only benefit to selecting this host was the fact that the boy had not once shown any interest in another living soul, so keeping the body pure would be easy.

“Time to track our dear friend,” K’Lnithor murmured.  He leapt out the wind and sprinted where he needed to go.
