It all began with the Word

Between my request and a completely random similar post at epicfantasy, you all came up with a list of about thirty-seven angel-related titles, which I've compiled into one ginormous resource post (along with a few more titles I found along the way). I hope I didn't miss any? Please let me know and I'll add them.

This is organized by (rough) category, so it's easier to find the kind of book you're looking for. Links are to Amazon, because they provide a ton of info and make it easier to get hard-to-find titles, and Indiebound, because every time you support your local independent bookstore, an angel gets its wings.

ETA for the people who just want a rec:

+ The Vintner's Luck by Elizabeth Knox if you want something moving and beautifully written.
+ Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman if you like Terry Pratchett and want something quick and entertaining.
+ Murder Mysteries by Neil Gaiman if you want something short and thoughtful (and illustrated).
