Technical Assistance with File Transfers
I want to transfer files from my desktop to my laptop. How do I do that? Both have wifi and I can create a limited network using my laptop (Vista) which my desktop (XP) can see, but seemingly has trouble connecting to. I thought I did get a connection, but couldn't see how to transfer files from the desktop to the laptop. I temporarily turned on full access to my desktop C:, but have since turned off file sharing since I was unable to get the transfer to work on my own. I'm a novice at best. Anyone have a clue what I need to do? Please? (no switching to MAC suggestions, please)
