Compounded Ignorance
Since the Libyan rebels have been lured by Gaddafi and his sons into the trap of taking over Tripoli and the rest of Libya, one thing has become clear to me.
Ever since the start of the bombing campaign, there has been talk about "Gaddafi's Compound". This week the rebels have been fighting over Gadaffi's Compound, and now they seem to have captured it.
But what is Gaddafi's Compound? Is it like a ranch? Where his son's football team trains? Or a special formula, Muammar's Patent Medicine, guaranteed to rid you of irritations such rats and bats and cats and dogs?

So they gave him

Now he's killing
Shi-ites too.
ok, not sure where that came from.
It's also clear that I still haven't learnt how to spell Gaddafi reliably.
