Carnival
It's St Pauls Carnival today. Since ten, multiple soundsystems have been playing a clashing mix of dub, reggae and the odd other thing, mixed occasionally with a car alarm or ice cream van.
Currently it mostly consists of that and a load of people wandering or sitting around aimlessly. There are a load of stalls, but nothing very exciting, unless you're a massive fan of curried goat. The people around here are showing their entrepreneurial side though, setting up little tents out the front of their houses and selling food and drinks.
I may go out later to see the parade. Or I may not bother.
