I don't want to be up this early. I was perfectly comfortable sleeping on a mattress in the living room this morning. But no - I had to get up and go to school, only to find out that my 8:00 class was cancelled. Phooey!
I'm in the process of filling out the FAFSA for a grant or student loans. Considering my mom is a genius and her employer knows it, I don't believe I shall be eligible for a grant. HOWEVER, I still have to fork out 75 bucks in order to be eligible for student loans. What kind of crap is that?! I hate most things federal, I think I have concluded.
Not much else has been going on. I've been working a lot, and going to school bright and early every morning. Truth be told, though my classes aren't exactly easy, they're not hard for me because I actually enjoy them and don't mind studying for them for once. That's refreshing! I even like Calculus! ;)
Jackie stayed over last night. We worked late, and then went over to her house to get her things. I love her grandparents - they're awesome! We then drove all the way to my house, ate white chicken chili, and watched movies till I could stay away no more. Anyone know there's an alternate ending to Titanic? *blink*
I'm going to the mall today to get some shoes. I need shoes - it's imperative. I'm tired of my feet freezing when I wear flip-flops all year round. *grins*
That's all, folks. I need to go and kill time while I'm waiting for my 9:30 class. I think I'll read and eat Fritos. Perhaps next time, my entry will be more exciting and stimulating. Until then...
