(no subject)
Well! Things are going well for the most part.
On Friday it is Bill and my 2 year anniversary... so we decided that we are just going to go to dinner. No gifts or anything like that cause we need to save the money. I'm not sure where we are going to go for dinner yet though... my mom suggested a place, so we might try there.
Bill is working right now... (I know! On a Saturday, that sucks!) I am waiting for him to come home so we can spend most of the rest of the day playing Diablo. LOL. I know, a blast from the past right? We have been playing a lot lately. If anyone still plays, or acct. names are DeannaBill1006 and DuelTheFool.
Nothing really planned for this weekend.
I have to work on my birthday! I guess there is a first time for everything! :o(
Ummm... so we haven't been up to much lately. We were hanging out with Tommy and Christine a lot but that hasn't been happening too much lately cause Tommy is travelling (he is in San Fransisco right now) and Christine has been busy... so we have been going out by ourselves a few times a week.
I am attempting to start cooking every night now. I know, scary right? I made steak, butternut squash and mashed potatoes for dinner Thursday night. I made.... Baked Ziti (which we had leftovers) I have made chicken with rice and beets and one night I actually made meatloaf! I am trying... Bill bears with me while I learn how to cook. He hasn't complained yet, so that is a good thing. He said he actually likes everything so far... I kinda put too much seasoning on the steak the other night but he still ate it because he said it tasted fine if you scraped off some of the seasoning. Eventually I am hoping to be as good of a cook as my mom... I know, I have a long way to go!
Umm... work is ok I guess. I found that I like the "knowing it all" part of the job except for when you see bad stuff that has happened to people you know. Lately I have heard really bad news about people that I used to know. It's sad really.
A job is going to be opening up pretty soon in maintenance and my dad told me to have Bill apply. Bill would HATE maintenance... but it would get him in the city at least. He doesn't do well with smells and stuff. So if he had to smell garbage all day, I don't know if he could do it.... we will see though.
My parents have FINALLY laid the foundation for the house. It should be all ready to start building next week. EXCITING! It's also sad though. I am going to have to see my house, the house I grew up in, get torn down. That is also the house my Dad grew up in, so that makes it even harder for him. What are you gonna do!
OK well Bill is home so I am going to go play Diablo now! Toodles!!
