I'm MARRIED!!
Woot. (Ouch, did I actually just say, 'Woot?')
On Saturday, May 20th, My fiancee became my wife. We had a beautiful beach ceremony in the morning, and in the evening we had a really fun casual reception at a resort on Tampa Bay. Brooke's beautiful plan for the reception was a hit. We had a live swing band and swing lessons for the guests. It was more of a party than a reception, which was exactly what we wanted.
On Monday after the wedding, Brooke and I flew to Cancun, Mexico for 6 nights in an amazing resort. All I can say about this place is that it was EXACTLY what I wanted after the stress of the last couple weeks before the wedding. On Sunday, we flew from Cancun to Newport Beach, California to meet up with Brooke's parents for a week of fun as celebration of Brooke's graduation from USF. We broke off from the in-laws yesterday for a day at Disneyland just for the two of us. We had a really great time, but decided that 1) Our kids will not have readily-available cell phones, and 2) An entire day at 2 theme parks is quite a workout.
Today is the pool, some sun, and then a movie tonight. I can't wait!
