Times are achangin'
Are the times changing? Certainly to some degree. i've had a series of conversations with a series of different people. I hate John Kerry. I hate being a democrat right now. Not for the reasons you think. We've ceased to be the Party of FDR and JFK and become the party of Walter Mondale and Dukais. There's nothing wrong with being correct. I have no problem with the so-called academic elite. as a group, they have no inherent right to rule. FDR was in a wheel chair and he campaigned all over this country. John Kerry didn't want to waste money on Missouri or Ohio. WTF? I know its not as simple as just showing up but you know what, it is that simple. It's been too long that we've republicans have claim to the whole country. We've given up on the relgious side when its so clear that we could wipe the floors with them? Pro-Life and Pro-Death Penalty? Anti-Welfare? "blessed are the meek for they shall inherent the earth" Question the seperation of church and state? "Give onto Caesar what is Caesar's and to god what is God's" and the best one. I am sick and tired of liberals and democrats just saying sorry and we'll be quiet now. In the race for the presidency, there is no such thing as a safe bet. We've been beat, our face is down in the mud. But that's because we played their game. We ran against their running defense. Now its time to get the ball in the air. Sorry that this diatribe is just going on.
Christmas was good. It's nice being home. Strange at the same time. I really feel bad for the people of the Indian Ocean Basin. the Death toll just keeps going up and it won't stop anytime soon. No words fit nor shall they ever fit the tragedy these people have suffered and will continue to suffer. Spanglish is also a good movie, I enjoyed it. Wouldn't it have killed them to get a mexican actress though? Paz Vega, the actress, was great though. Everyone was. Also dell canceled the order on my laptop. Pain in the ass. Anyways, those are the ongings here in New Haven, where all the men are pretty, the women handsome and all the children are above average.
