Long time
It has been a long time since i had the time, inclination and what not to update so i thought this would be an appropiate time. So what has happened in recent weeks? Well, i am 90% done with my Masters and I've decided that's as far as I want to go in my program. What is next then? Job and then looking to the future. I've promised myself that in 3 years i'll be back in school of some sort. I want to remain in control of my destiny and more education is the only way to do that. I've got some interesting job prospects (a couple paralegal and financial stuff) that are looking good. So far people have been impressed with my resume which is good, and my professors seem to like me enough to be able to write me a good recommendation. Its still a tough job market out there but it is improving So what is the point of all this? I guess there was a part of me that was never happy in Virginia in the program, nothing against the people or the program from whom i have learned a great deal. I feel that this is all for the best and nothing bad can come from this. The important thing is to keep my eyes on the end goal and to get there as quickly and as best as possible. I've learned a lot over the past year and I am ready to use that knowledge and not just sit in a library waiting for history to happen. So look for me on the job market.
