Empathy is your friend
Still dislike Bobby.
I really, really can't help it. We see in this episode how much he actually does, but it still comes down to the fact that he's incredibly ego-centric. He apologizes in the end, true, but he still seems to set his own problems so much higher than others. For example, comparing losing his legs to Castiel losing his grace. Yes, being paralyzed -- especially in that business -- is horrible, but there's a huge difference between being paralyzed and going from Angel to Human. Sorry.
If this was a one-time thing, that would be one thing. But it's not. He consistently displays this behavior. If he has any problems at all, they automatically trump the other person's. I'm not going to say he doesn't have severe problems, but come on. He has a complete lack of empathy, and any time someone calls him on it, they're wrong. Grrrr.
...but I do really, really <3 Rufus. And the scene with Sam flying around in the background while Dean talks frantically on the phone. :D
