Vincent is Sephiroth's dad. This if truth! Hojo just wishes he got some but all he gets instead is alien Jenova porns. Which I think he'd enjoy more than regular smex cos he's twisted like that.

The three of them would make a lovely little unholy trinity of power, possibly with Sephiroth being the third power because of how Cloud was conceived. He was blessed by Hel whereas Sephiroth is merely Vincent's eldest son. Still warped and powerful thanks to Hojo but I think Cloud would have a shitload more oomph.

How Vincent would find out? Hmmm...Cloud would likely have a scent of Chaos about him, something only detectable to Vincent and possibly Sephiroth's highly developed sense of smell. Well for Sephiroth he can probably smell both Vincent and Chaos's dna in Cloud. I have a feeling that it's something mako doesn't mask but enhances instead. Like a homing beacon type thing. Maybe Cloud has a mindless berserk side that isn't mako inflicted but linked to his parentage. Then there is the obvious possibility of adding the wing.

I wonder if we cut Vincent's hair - would it spike in spaz directions? XD

I'm all for reading the incest if the three of them end up in bed with Zack too >.>

There are days I wish I could come up with awesomely dark ideas for fic like this but I'm so very happy to read instead. My fic tends to be sweet with some angst so I doubt I'd pull it off.

All in all I think Zack will be the one to point it out that they're all related, blurting it out while they're all trying to avoid mentioning it. Zack is good at stuff like that. Or maybe Aerith will...a darkness wrapped up in light is how I think she might see Cloud and Vincent via the Lifestream. Sephiroth is just too jumbled for her to look at for too long.

I figured Cloud would definitely come off his mama looks-wise, including hair. That would make it more difficult for a...non-enhanced person to figure out the relation.

Vincent could find out via Chaos going nuts and still refusing to hurt Cloud. Just a thought. *shrugs* Regardless, Zack would probably still be the one to blurt it out.

And I wish I would get more cheerful ideas, honestly. :)

Cloud probably thinks Chaos is awesome XD Him calling Vincent 'dad' and snuggling close would be good crack.

Chaos would be quite protective of Cloud I think once he/it figures out Cloud is his spawn. He's small, powerful but hasn't come into his power yet or can't control it properly and so is dangerous to himself and others. Hence him getting Zack and Sephiroth to watch him. Hojo's just biding his time waiting for Cloud to get through puberty a bit to get his powers leveled off a little and then take control of him. Or something.

I'm liking the idea of Vincent finding out from Chaos' actions. Maybe Chaos seriously attacks Zack and Sephiroth, testing them to see if they're strong enough to protect Cloud. Cloud doesn't want them getting hurt and so jumps into the fight. Chaos isn't worried if he kills Zack or Sephiroth because he'll just continue to protect Cloud himself. Chaos then bringing Cloud fresh kills or something to make sure he's fed would be fun because Zack would probably think Chaos is courting Cloud, not realizing he's just keeping his kid well fed.

Okay, this time a little thought went into it >.> For cheerful ideas perhaps you should start with fluffy drabbles? That way the muses won't realize what you're doing until it's too late ;)

ROFL Thank you. I've reread that a couple times now, and it still makes me laugh. :D

Daddy!Chaos is going to have me smiling all day. You've just given the fic a lj tag for when it's written :D

I don't write much FF7 and when I was writing it was more Turkfic than anything else. The characters don't talk to me all that much. I only get occasional snippets from them to do one-shots.

Cloud can't just call Chaos 'dad' either. It has to be growled. Unless Chaos can talk. Demons surely have their own language because him trying to talk like a human would have him either dislocating his jaw or biting his tongue. Cloud probably does bite his tongue on occasion if he's distracted while trying to talk in demon tongue.

It is much easier to see the likeness between Vincent and Sephiroth. Cloud definitely takes after his mom. Think Vincent would see her in his dreams sometimes, never know who she is and only really remembering the color of her hair, nothing much else because Chaos was in control.

I think I'm in need of more icons now just to encourage fic :3

Actually, he might not really remember that much. I'm thinking it was momma!Strife that gave Cloud the info to piece it together. Namely by her sharing how Hel graced her so. So when he remembers that post!Game, and hears Vincent's story, he'll finally be able to put it together. And then Vincent would be utterly flabbergasted by it, because he did something horrible to Cloud's mother and why can't Cloud understand that!?! Silly man doesn't understand that, despite all that's happened, Cloud and momma were and still are devout followers of Hel. <3 And while she's a harsh goddess, she rewards loyalty and devotion as befitting a goddess's grace.
