*snarls* I hate patronizing people. They talk to you like you're fucking seven in either a lofty paternal tone or just a flat-out condescending one, and they tell you shit that they either know nothing about or try to pull off a 'told-you-so' thing when they actually never told you shit. Did you get any starting with the phrase "Back when I was your age..." or any of its offshoot variants? That's the personal favourite in my family :D I usually just laugh it off, since they never seem to know how to respond when I start cackling.

*sighs* It's generally more implied than said, but it's there more often than I like. Of course, considering I know what my family was doing when they were my age, I definitely cackle when they say it.
