Upon discovering that I do actually have vacation days and have had them for a while (thanks, boss), I decided to call them in today. Why? Because yesterday Cal ate one of my plants and I started bawling. I decided today was a good day to call in a vacation day.
The next chapter of tent!fic is about half done, and I plan is to get it done ASAP. It looks like this part *insert sobs here* is almost done. I'm not sure. Still checking out some details.
So the entire day off unless the Tuesday/Thursday dude (the reason I was able to get off so easily) calls in sick. Again. *crosses fingers*
