lately i have been looking for a laptop computer. i've realized its the only way i'll get any work done on campus this year.
i have come to this conclusion as a result of my search: i know nothing about computers.
the "buy a mac get a free ipod" deal has me distracted from other potential competitors. i'm not sure what would be best for me as a computer user. my computer now is basically used for msn and essays so i don't need anything overly intense but i'd like to have space for some music and some pictures and some saved files.
i'm sure i'll have to visit some sort of retailer to get all the facts.
in other news yesterday was a good day. pat and i wandered the streets of downtown toronto and he signed the lease for his lovely new apartment, we went for lunch and gave some money to cancer in exchange for thingamaboobs. which, by the way, all you ladies should find a way to obtain. here's the scoop.
after various adventures in the beaches and starbucks treats i came home and had dinner and then went for my first manicure and pedicure with my mom which, much to my amazement, i have yet to destroy completely. i did however have a nasty allergic reaction to whatever cream they put on my legs.
today is laundry and possibly class but i might skip it in favor of not going downtown in the rain and getting the cold which i feel i have been fighting off for days.
