Update on my life lately...
Click to viewI told the girl that I like that I am gay. She took it quite well...I was expecting a Frankenstein-style rejection, but it turns out she is 'bicurious'. That word generally pisses me off, but since this is the girl I like it's uh...Welcome. She's apparently experimented with a girl before. with this one lesbian that was a senior when we were sophomores. I really, really disliked that girl. Anya (the girl I like) was feeling experimental in freshman year and 'went out' with Ashley for two days. They made out. Then, Ashley went psycho (as many clingy lesbians tend to do) and started writing letters to Anya, telling people they slept together, etc.
Shit, man. Why didn't I come out sooner? Anya might have experimented with me...And I don't mean that selfishly, but I mean, she wouldn't have had to experiment with Ashley. I wouldn't be all creepy like Ashley was. It would have been a more pleasant experience for Anya (I hope). I always stayed away from Ashley because I could tell she'd rape and/or stalk any girl who showed her the slightest interest :/
Is the lesbian drama already starting, before I've even gotten a girlfriend? lol, sounds like it. But the main reason I brought this up is because of how nice things have been with Anya since I came out. Of course I'm desperately hoping she likes me, but even if she doesn't, she's still cool with me, I now have someone close to me irl that I can speak freely about relationships with (before, I always fell silent in that type of conversation)...I'm happy :3
My senior year of highschool has begun. I have senioritis already. I think I had it last year, too. My English teacher seems really great this year. Despite liking books and liking linguistics, I've always hated English classes. They've always felt too unnecessary. But this one's alright. I also have chemistry, the math aspect of which is challenging but the rest is quite enjoyable.
Umm, I've knocked down a few movies since my last post...The Big Lebowski, Hard Candy (lol), Greystoke: the Legend of Tarzan, Fast Sofa (Crispin!), Little Buddha, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, random newer movies playing at the theater I work at...I watched Willard recently but that's not new to me, I just love it.
I started reading The Plague Dogs but had to stop due to school starting up (school always gets in the way of my studying and reading...Ironic, eh?). So instead I've read Cry, The Beloved Country and am currently in the midst of The Odyssey.
I think I'm finally out of my Gaia phase...It's been a very long time since I've been there (I first joined when I was 13, and have been there on-and-off since then, but I think this is the longest break and the most disinterest I've had for it in a while). I'm now becoming more of a *chan nerd, which is probably worse.
