I'm doing all my spoiler speculation on tumblr these days. Not cool.
How many spoilers can you keep on the head of a pin? Venture below the cut for speculation...
So Guy Bee tweeted the following picture:

So we can tell from this that the pins tell us a little about each season. I can't tell what season the one on the far left is - 3? but it's got a demon on it. The S2 one has the demon's claws and you get the feeling it is creeping on the boys, thus Azazel. The S5 one is the most telling, though - not only the devil, but a yin-yang, a representation of the boys' relationship and symmetry in telling the Michael/Lucifer story.
And S6? I see a man without a middle - a piece missing... say, a soul?
Now. On to the S7 pin. I see Cas in the middle, towering over the car that represents our boys. And I think i see the maelstrom of souls in his middle - just above the car's roof. But the red tentacles? Does that represent the trail of blood he's leaving, or his growing influence over the world, or evil spreading?
OR, given that Lovecraft was brought in at the end of the season and re-teased at the S7 promo they showed at SDCC, could those tentacles be a tad more literal?
I'm probably seeing what I want to see here, but... is it possible Castiel has shaken an Evil One loose from purgatory in his hostile takeover? Could THAT be our Big Bad? No secret that I'd just about kill and die for that to happen, but....
oh, PLEASE. let this be the case :D
And YES, PLEASE BRING ON THE TENTACLE JOKES.
