My favorite drabble of February
This is my favorite drabble that I wrote all month. Nothing else even comes close. :D

Subject: San Diego Comic-Con Report 2012 - Day 2 - Supernatural panel
The auditorium was totally packed, of course. I'm sorry the youtube clips are so shaky, but I was literally boob to boob with a thousand other fangirls. When one person sneezed, the whole place shifted.
Youtube Clip 1: The cast comes out. Check out Misha and Jensen, the way they make googly eyes at each other for our benefit. Jared comes in a minute later looking awfully lonely. He had a T-shirt on that said "I miss Sam/Dean." Aww.
Youtube Clip 2: Panel, part 1
Quick summary: They thank everyone, Kripke talks a little bit about why he made the decision to go in this direction. Basically he says that it was the strongest dramatic choice and pleasing the fangirls was just a secondary concern. (As if!) Jensen talks a little bit about how weird it was to see Dean kiss Castiel onscreen two days before he married Danneel. Misha makes a crack about them using SPN as porn on their honeymoon. Jensen looks mortified.
Youtube Clip 3: Panel, part 2 and Q&A part 1
Quick summary: They talk a little bit about Sam's storyline and how he was dealing with his brother getting attached, and how he felt that was a really human thing for him to have to deal with. Everyone has to deal with seeing their family members getting in relationships, and learn to live with the decisions they make, and stuff. And the big reveal in 6x22, "The Devil You Know," they talk about that, too, and how they were so psyched to have Mark come back for the last episode.
The Q&A is the best part though. Let me see if I can run through it in detail. This isn't a full transcript..
Q: How did Kripke tell you guys that you were gonna go gay?
Jensen: He just handed us the script and said "Suck on it." (laughter) No, we talked about it at length, about the way we wanted the characters to go and he said "Look, we've been dancing around it with the fangirl episodes but I'm really thinking this is the way to really make a splash" and Misha was like Thank God, I was hoping you'd say that. (laughter) No, seriously. His wife ships it. (laughter.)
Q: In 6x06, "Falling for You," Castiel talks about holding on to something besides his grace. Did you know by then? How did you play that scene?
Misha: Oh, yeah. We knew by then. Actually, we had started playing it that way in the second episode of the season. What was the line? (in Castiel voice) "I need you more than you need me, Dean." (fangirl squealing, I couldn't hear the rest of his answer. Can you guys make it out?)
Q: How was shooting the first kiss?
Jared: I'll answer that. (laughter) Boooo-ring.
Follow-up Q: Did you feel left out this season?
Jared: Actually, you'd think I would, right? But I didn't. I really liked the whole story of playing Sam being torn between the past - when it was just him and Dean - and dealing with this future where he has to accept this other person into his life. And the whole twist with Lucifer was awesome. (cheers)

Q: In 6x09, "My Angel," Dean says that he's had crushes on guys before. Did you ever play that? You know, in earlier seasons?
Jensen: (looks embarrassed, everyone laughs) I can't answer that on the grounds that my wife would kill me. No, seriously, I can't say I really played it in any particular episode, but Dean's a pretty laid-back guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a bit of a... (inaudible) some guy he met along the way.
Kripke: Dr. Sexy.
(cheering, laughter, applause. Jensen is adorable here, look at the way he points at Kripke like he's saying "I'm gonna get you." Love it!)
Q: Will Sam be getting with Gabriel next season?
Jared: What? (look how he stands up like he's about to bolt.) No. Guys. Guys. Seriously? How would that physically work? He's like (inaudible) munchkin... (At this point I sort of lose control of the camera I'm laughing so hard. sorry!)
