I love summer, driving around in ym car listenting to Somthing Corporate really loud (Punk Rock Princess, Woke Up in a Car and I Kissed a Drunk Girl).
I drove by some church and the bilboard outside it said "Celebrate God's Independence". FUCK THAT! This is not Gods independence, it's our counrties independence. What;s happeneing right now all over the world- Iraq, Afganistan, Africa, Thats what happened to us on this day. Not exactly the same, but this is the day to celebrate our independence from the country controlling us and this is the day we gained out freedom and I dont wnat it to be confused or associated with God. I hate when they fuckin assimilate shit like this!
