(no subject)
so its been a strange few weeks...upsettings at my future mother in law, sadness at my work and how much i hate it, and dread of two things-my birthday, and going into hospital.
i go in on tuesday morning, and im really not looking forward to it whatsoever. i know you shouldnt be looking forward to operations, but im really a bit anxious.
im not dreading my birthday cos im getting older...i'll be a proud 26, and i dont look my age, im just not looking forward to being miserable and alone and poor. cos its two days before pay day.
pay day is also biffy in edinburgh day which is the day before biffy-at-the-barras-yo-ching-ching-day.
ive been asked what id like for my birthday (aside from a new set of ovaries and a new uterus ) id like the following
1) vouchers for the rainbow room o i can get my hair done and cheer myself up
2) my so called life on dvd
3) the new travis album
4) the previous aereogramme album
5) a ticket for aereogramme at the qmu
6) a ticket for foo fighters cos i love them more
7) rufus wainrights new album
8) new converse shoes-i have some picked out.
so, i get out on tuesday night, so from wednesday onwards, i'll appreciate anyone who wants to come and hang out here at home, with wine and sex n the city dvds-andy thats directed at you realy :p
our new bathroom is being fitted on friday and im so excited
my mission for the next months is to try and make new friends-or get to know people i know of better, volunteer below
in other news-theres only a 0.7% chance of contracting HIV from a carrier via a needlestick injury at work.
